Hello Literary Chatters,

I was talking to a few of you earlier and I decided I like the idea of inviting Toni Morrison to visit this blog.  I found out from a writer friend that I could go through her Publicist for the deliver of such an invitation.  Would not that be GREAT!!!  Let's hear from the rest of you.  What do you think?  Will Morrison accept the invitation and visit this blog or not?  We could even have a contest which states everyone interested in seeing Morrison respond to this blog write to her Publicist and whoever gets the first response, (whether yea or nay) post it here and win a prize.  What do you all say?  I look forward to hearing from you.  Happy reading until we meet on this blog again.

    I am game JoAn. I will try to find out who Morrison's publicist is and get back to everyone. My heart is racing! I can hardly wait. Bjuana

      Slow down and take a deep breath Bjuauna. I found out that Dr. Carolyn C. Denard who has edited several of Toni Morrison's books and papers is also a friend and confidant of Mrs. Morrison. She is on the Board of "The Toni Morrison Society" at 1445 Jayhawk Boulevard on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence Kansas 66045. I sent a letter to Dr. Denard asking her if she or Mrs. Morrison would be interested in reading and commenting on my blog. I am awaiting a response. So calm down and let's wait and see if I get a response sometime soon. Keep checking back here to find out the lastest. JoAn

      You made me laugh. Reading the conversation you two are having is hilarious. I can't wait to see if Toni Morrison responds so I can see who will faint first. I am still laughing. George

      Don't be angry, just kidding. I do want Toni Morrison or publicist to say something on the blog. It will be a keepsake for the most prominent African American of our time in Literature. George
